In between the whirlwind of activity of a wedding, there are also moments of loving beauty. Having shot another wedding with similar logistics to this occasion at the Lake Shrine Temple, I was ready for the planning stage of it. But, really, nothing ever really prepares you for the artistry stage of it. Even with scouting, when I get there as a photographer, my mind is focused on keeping an eye out for the little things.

 

Because the little things are the big things.

 

In this case, having Jeannie and Marcel in front my lens made it all that much easier, two beautiful people on their special day.  Their energy and readiness to give it all in front of the camera combined with the fact that they didn’t really have to was a real treat to witness.
